Charlie Lewis, Senior Advisor

Charlie Lewis currently serves as the Vice President of Venture Development for Skysong Innovations, the technology transfer arm for Arizona State University.  For the past 21 years, he has managed the launch of more than 240 new ASU spin-out companies based on ASU faculty research.  Through 2024, these startups have raised over $1.4 billion in venture capital investment.  He is also the co-founder of the Mayo Clinic-ASU MedTech Accelerator.  Launched in 2017, the Medtech Accelerator has graduated 41 companies who have raised a combined total of $325 million in investment funding since graduation.  Prior to joining Skysong Innovations, he served as general partner for two Arizona venture capital funds, Arris Ventures and Paradise ’94.

Charlie Lewis was a founding partner of Midas Computers after graduating from Arizona State University.  The company designed software tools for small retail businesses and was acquired by POS Systems.
